Me Maisonneuve holds a Bachelor degree in Corporate law and a Master degree in International and European Law from Capitole 1 (Toulouse, France), as well as a D.E.S.S. degree in International Law from l’Université de Montréal. While studying, she acquired solid civil and commercial litigation and business law skills in several Montréal law firms.
Her multidisciplinary practice has led her to take on litigation cases and represent clients before the civil, administrative and federal courts, specifically in the following areas:
Magali also assists entrepreneurs and startups in their transition to digital, in the development of e-commerce and the protection of computer data collected through social media and web applications. She supports clients in the protection of their intellectual property by participating in the registration of trademarks and copyrights with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office.
As part of assisting with the development of entrepreneurs and startups, Magali has also participated in the establishment of business immigration strategy, including the implementation of commercial and corporate strategies in Québec and Canada, and in business development.
Magali is a Director of the Young Bar Association of Montréal (2017-2018) and is mandated to head the Research and Legislation Committee and to manage the CRL blog (www.bloguecrl.com).
